Creates a clearly defined neck and chin profile through tightening and tissue correction.

Over time, the neck loses firmness, the chin–neck line softens, platysmal bands become more prominent, and fat deposits can reduce the definition of the jawline angle. A deep plane neck lift targets the deeper structures of the neck: the anterior neck muscles are contoured, the platysma tightened, and superficial and/or deep fat deposits addressed as needed, restoring a clearly defined jawline. By working within the natural layers of the subcutaneous facial anatomy, we achieve results that are both natural and long-lasting.
In selected cases, reduction or removal of the prominent submandibular salivary gland may be necessary, as it can interfere with a smooth neck contour. If required, a subtle incision beneath the chin is additionally made preserving smooth, natural contours. The result is a harmonious, naturally contoured profile, which never appears over-tightened.

Neck lift procedure

INITIAL SURGICAL CONSULTATION

During your surgical consultation, we will discuss your expectations and needs, examine skin quality, fat distribution, the firmness of the platysma muscle, the course of the ligaments, and the contour of your jaw angle. We will explain the (deep) neck lift procedure and discuss which variation is best suited to your individual case. You will receive a treatment and aftercare plan, including preparation instructions. We can also calculate the costs during this appointment.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

The procedure is performed under anesthesia and lasts between 2 and 3 hours. We remove excess skin (and fat deposits if necessary), use the finest sutures for virtually invisible scars, and take care to preserve your natural appearance. The technique is gentle on skin and connective tissue cells and promotes optimal healing.

A (deep) neck lift is often combined with other procedures such as a facelift, upper eyelid lift, or CO2 laser skin treatment. You can discuss the optimal combination of procedures for you with your surgeon.

AFTER THE SURGERY

You may spend the first night in the clinic. The following morning, we will remove any drains and prepare you for your journey home. The stitches will be removed in the doctor's office after 5-7 days. For optimal aftercare, we will create a plan for you that will get you back to your normal social activities as quickly as possible.
